Delhi Government's public grievance monitoring cell has cleared 75 per cent of the complaints received so far from people of the state.
The Public Grievance Monitoring System (PGMS) department today said it received 3,573 complaints between February 15 and April 28 and 11,930 ones during the AAP government's regime till February 14.
Of the total 15,503 grievances, so far 11,650 or 75 per cent of the grievances have been resolved, partially resolved or closed.
Among them, 3,950 grievances were closed after finding the response given by the concerned departments satisfactory.
Of the pending grievances, 2,876 are overdue and the majority is lying with departments like Delhi Police, Delhi Jal Board, MCD North and South and Delhi Development Authority.
"The complaints are received at the help desk near the reception centre of Delhi Secretariat. The complainants are given personal hearing at Room No 111B. If they are still not satisfied, the matter is dealt at the level of Deputy Secretary and Additional Secretary," Additional Secretary of Public Grievance Monitoring System (PGMS), Ravi Dadhich said.
